Fic idea: Rielle makes a deal with Azul for something, and just like in The Little Mermaid, Rielle loses his voice as collateral and has to get true loves kiss to fulfill the terms of the contract. Originally, Rielle went to Azul because he was having love trouble with someone from Royal Sword (maybe Mina or Neige or someone else), and Azul does his usual of sending the Tweels to make sure the contract’s conditions aren’t fulfilled. How Jade decides to do this is take up all of Rielle’s time under the guise of wanting to bond over their shared love of human culture. But with the two sharing all this time together, Rielle starts to develop a crush on Jade, and realizes he loves him, not whoever he was originally fawning over. Jade plays into this, thinking that it would ruin Rielle’s relationship with his RSA crush and starts being flirty and romantic and all that.
Azul tries to warn him that this is a dangerous strategy, as this relationship could grow and lead to the “true love’s kiss” that would ruin the whole plan. However Jade ignores these worries, believing that even if the two did kiss, it wouldn’t be true love’s kiss. After all, Jade definitely didn’t have any feelings towards the little prince… right? (An Azul crashout is imminent when he turns out to be right about the strategy being dangerous)
Also other RSA students are being Rielle’s wingman in all of this, doing something akin to “Kiss the Girl,” just desperately trying to help their friend get a silly eel boyfriend. Mina is shaking his head in the background cuz he does not trust Jade in the slightest, which is honestly the correct response.
