Follow up to my Blue Hood AU where Jason is raising Tyler from Batman: Urban Legends Cheer storyline.
In this version sadly Tyler’s mom does not recover from her overdose.
As you can see with Jason’s age there are some changes from canon as well. Not only are many characters older but also different characters have different identities. For example: neither Damian or Tim are Robin they both have their own identities.
So some notes for this AU:
Jason gave Tyler a blue hoodie and he made and sewed on the BH patch himself. If anyone asks the BH is for Blüdhaven
Tyler does know that Jason killed his father. Jason didn’t feel right adopting Tyler and not telling him the truth about his dad’s death, especially since Jason remembers how he felt after finding out how his father died and how it was kept from him.
For the first 6 months after Tyler is adopted Jason keeps it a secret from the batfamily due to their rocky relationship. I mean, Tyler was just orphaned he should get to adjusted to living with Jason before being introduced to his kind of new insane family.
Only Bruce, Barbara and Alfred know for those 6 months. Bruce and Barbara because they were directly involved. Alfred because it’s Alfred.
Tyler knows that Jason is Red Hood but at first does not know any of the other batfam members’ civilian identities
I do plan on making a fanfic and some more art about this. I think I’ll probably call it Blue Hood AU unless I think of something else.
