Hey #LUNATICS ✨✨✨ Did you know my mama named me Rachael? My best friend's name, until 6th grade was Mookie. She called me RayRay or Ray for short! Sooo Blackity Black, I know. When we moved to Atlanta, me and this big booty girl named Tameka from Decatur got tight. Come to think of it, Mookie had a big ass too...they were fast girls..and yup, so was I. Then transformation hit early. At 15, we cut all the perm off, and rocked short naturals (We, is my twin and I...couldn't have imagined going through that period alone) Started meditating, cut out all meat and them Sunday Sermons, learned about the pineal gland, black Nile civilizations, the secrets of 9 ether and melanin, Chakras and crystals before I was 18. Luna surfaced toward the end of high school when we started performing a lot. Then I actually found out about what the moon really means.. Yoooo, Game Over!!! All Hail Princess Luna, right?! ••••••• Luna remains, but recently me and Rachael been getting reacquainted again. She so tight too. I'm thinking if I could've only been more Rachael in certain situations of my life •••••••••••••••••••• One of the things I've come to enjoy about New Moon work is, of course, planting new seeds, setting new intentions..but it's also a time for shadow work. Some of y'all got more beads and titles than your neck and ego can carry. You've taken on new 4 and 5 syllable names , but you haven't dealt with the Mookie in you. He's gotten me back on the right track or helped me see many different perspectives on things when I just wasn't in the state of mind to see it myself; and he did all this after finding out I just got some of the worst cards life could have dealt to me, but he just didn't see failure or giving up as an option, quit your excuses and work as hard as you can when you can, nobody is perfect.
