¡Mucha Lucha!

Created by Eddie Mort and Lili Chin and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, ¡Mucha Lucha! is an animated series set in the fictional Southern California town of Luchaville. Here everyone wears Luchadore costumes and are never seen without their masks; they all live by the code of Lucha Libre Mexican Wrestling.

The series centers on the adventures of three youngsters named Rikochet, Buena Girl, and the Flea. The trio persevere in their struggles through the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha, where they are studying to become great Luchadores.

The voice cast included Carlos Alazraqui, Kimberly Brooks, Candi Milo and Jason Marsden. ¡Mucha Lucha! premiered in August of 2002 on the KidsWB and ran for three seasons. ¡Lleno de acción!

Behold…. One of the first commercials from the Japanese Dub of Mucha Lucha!, aired around 2004 and when the first season was airing on Cartoon Network Japan, apparently there were other commercials of the show around that time, but only a text via an old blog was seen:

I’m really curious of how the first season CM’s looked like, based on what the user on livedoor wrote on that time.

Also, I’m still on the search of the Japanese dub of the show, if anyone (Japanese speaking people who saw the show back on CN Japan in 2004) has some memories or episode recordings, please let me know, any kind of help is appreciated 🙏🏼
