IM FINALLY UNDERSTANDING COLOR THEORY

it’s super annoying and I hate it, but

that looks VERY GOOD. Especially since there are only 3 base colors (skin, hair, iris), plus rim lights and the white. I’ve recently been trying a more sketchy artsyle, especially because there are many procreate brushes I haven’t used yet. This one was made with the brush 6B pencil, in the Classic Library under Sketching.

Here's a paint over of a screenshot from the recent "The Story of Linda the Cow" from Taskmaster! Digital oils, tenebrism up the wazoo, lovely glowy ears and glowy outline (subsurface scattering and rim lighting, respectively).

Really enjoyed doing it. Also hated it. Limited myself to Krita's PixelArt16 palette (+white) so I didn't have the right colours AT ALL. So stupid. So fun.
