I used to think that losing a home was the hardest thing that could happen.

But what I’ve learned is that the hardest part comes after — trying to rebuild your life while carrying the weight of everything you lost 💔

Every day, I try to focus on the future. On my education, on my family, on the hope that one day things will feel stable again. But hope becomes difficult to hold onto when every step forward feels uncertain.

We live in dilapidated tents that offer no protection from the heat or rain. We are left to drown in the winter; the tents do not protect us from rodents and insects 💔. We suffer from a lack of food, medicine, clothing, and clean water for drinking and washing 💔. Despite all this, I try my best to bring a smile to my children's faces. I humbly ask for your donation for my children 🙏. I desperately need your £50 donation to survive. This is just a small part of the suffering we endure in Gaza. Your donation for my children is what will save them and help them reach safety. Thank you for your understanding and help, my friend. 🫂

I was like 'I prefer Brotherhood but I haven't seen the 03 version', although thinking back on it I haven't watched Brotherhood fully, only read the manga. Does that count?

From future teacher to homeless person 💔

My story and hope for survival😭

I am Israa Alwan I am 22 years old, a young woman who once had big dreams and was ready to achieve them. After years of hard work and study, I finally received my degree in Early Childhood Education. It was an indescribable joy, knowing I was about to start my journey as a teacher, to help shape young minds and walk alongside them in their first steps toward knowledge.

But my dream didn’t last. The war came and turned my life upside down. My home, which was once a safe haven, is now rubble, and I am left with only a few belongings and a shattered bag of dreams. Now, I am without a home, a job, or any sense of security. I move from place to place with my family, searching for a shelter to protect our children and the sick from the cold winter and the scorching summer.

My mom who has always been my strength and support, now bears the heavy responsibility of caring for our entire family, doing everything he can to protect us and provide us with the bare essentials, despite the harsh conditions😭😭😭

Today, I reach out to you, driven by a shared humanity, seeking your support to help us survive and find a way out of this life that was forced upon us.

It’s hard to put into words how exhausting this journey has been.

Since losing our home and the life we once knew, everything has felt uncertain 💔

Every day we try to keep going, stay hopeful, and believe that maybe things can still get better somehow.

I’m trying to continue my education while also helping my family through one of the hardest periods of our lives. Some days I feel strong… and other days everything just feels too heavy.

This campaign became our way of holding onto a little stability and hope 🤍

We’ve now reached £2,384 and we are only £116 away from our goal of £2,500 🙏

Being this close means so much to us, but we still need help reaching that final step.
