They lived three blocks apart but Jerry was bouncing from place to place. In Novemberr, 1943 Jerry was at The Lookout House, a club just south of Cincinnati Ohio, located in Kentucky. In December, 1943, he was in New Jersey. Dean was in New York at The Riobamaba. There's an article that has Jerry at a burlesque house in Buffalo in October, 1943 and Jerry had some gigs in burlesque houses. So who knows, they could have ran into one another.
