Now look at the way Viktor talks about Jinx in the RiotxArcane visual nocpvel when she's threatening to tear apart reality as he knows it.

They're both so willing to extend the other empathy and compassion when they can see the destructive path the other is on. It's so insane these kinds of dynamics are shafted into side media like the minigame and visual novel.
