RIP The Angel who Fell For Humanity

*SPOILERS FOR SUPERNATURAL*

November 5, 2020  Supernatural 15x18 was released. We all know this episode by heart. Everyone from the apocalypse world was disappearing. Sam gathered everyone in a fortified area while Dean and Cas go after Billy who they thought was the one killing the people from the other world.

Trying to save Dean, Cas sacrifices himself to the empty by admitting his love for the man he raised from perdition.

Cas’s death is one of the most heartbreaking moments of the entire fifteen season show. Seeing this character we loved grow and learn for eleven beautiful years was irreplaceable. There is no other character in any art form like Castiel.

Supernatural was supposed to end at season five and went on to season fifteen. Castiel was supposed to die after three episodes and lived (kind of) for eleven years.

We love you so much Cas! You were the best guardian angel the Winchesters could have ever hoped for. Rest in peace fallen angel.

In an interview last year Misha said that he would want to see Castiel die at the end of the show.

In a recent interview he said that the ending that is scripted for Cas is very final and is exactly what he wanted.
