On December 16th at around 5pm a beloved family member of mine passed away. She was a 10 years old German shepherded mixed and l loved her like my own child. This devastated me so much that it just killed the joy that I always felt during the Christmas season. I don’t usually post anything relating to my personal life mostly because I’m hesitant that people will just assume that I’m just simply looking for sympathy, but honestly this is just a way for me to vent. I know there are others out there who have/are going through the same thing whether its the lost of a pet or an close relative and I feel that this could help them relate to some extent.
Faith was more than just a pet, she was like my child; the first time I held her in my arm when she was only 8 months old was one of the best moments of my life. Never in all my life would I ever thought I would experience having a pet.....or losing one. Like I said, I know others have/are going through the same thing and I just wanted to share this. It will take a while before I get back into the joy I once felt during Christmas time and I hope you all remember that even though love ones die it should not stop you from living your life to the fullest. Life your life....cherish your loved ones.... and share your love with others.
