was playing the new pokemas update and I was wondering why we only saw just leaf with red in the whole thing but never blue. started laughing about it's probably cuz he couldn't handle being weak to the main typing (electric > water/flying) so he dipped out

it took me a shamefully long time to realize it was actually probably because they cant exactly put blue anywhere near ash without the whole SAME EXACT FACE AS CHILDHOOD BFF thing being brought up, which is a can of worms best left unopened (and is likely the reason they also keep most main pokeani main characters like may, dawn, brock, or misty away from ash lol)
