It’s truly crazy being back on tumblr after a decade. Despite some changes, tumblr somehow feels like the internet that I’ve been nostalgic for. Thanks @strange-aeons for helping me rediscover the weird corner of the internet that I used to call home. Hopefully it sticks around for a while.
If anyone sees this post hit me with some must follow blog suggestions ❤️
I thought it wouldn't be that bad. I thought I could try it out and get used to it. But no, the reddit app is just trash. There's a little part of my brain which is just screaming that something is 'off' and is more of a dopimine depletion.
I have been meaning to move more here, but I feel a little lost and lonely.
It feels like I'm at a party, but I don't know anyone. So I'm not having a good time.
Does anyone have a crash course on 'how to tumblr'?
so Reddit reviewed r/place, would be a real shame is somebody did this
Turns out I've been following you on reddit since late 2021 and I never realized it until just now XD
Lmao!
I feel bad for the people who follow me on Reddit. I don’t really post there very much. My image files are grainier on Reddit and I’m too busy to really toggle two social medias for art posting.
Reddit is like 4 parts off with my comic and I haven’t updated it at all over there 🗿
Just finished my final interaction with Reddit. I replied to someone's own reply to something I said, don't like leaving people hanging and all.
That's it, then. It's gone. I can't say I won't miss it, and for sure it's a huge loss for the internet as a whole...
But at the same time, I like this new home. It lets me be more myself without feeling like I'm walking on eggshells lest I get downvote bombed for just asking a question or not understanding a joke. I can do what I want here. It's fun.
And everyone here is so nice and kind. Giving us tips on how to survive, showing us around, being generally welcoming (The Twitter migration notwithstanding).
Not to mention everything here is just comedy gold. I see posts that make me crack up daily, instead of mild nose exhaling like before. I guess what I'm trying to say is...
Thank you for the gold, kind strangers.
i miss r/thinkpad i wish there was an equivalent somewhere else
Tumblr really is one of the most resilient sites ever, huh?
