(Nick) Have you tried recording Scald on a blank TR? I think it might be a little easier to teach it to her that way. You'll have to perform the move over and over while holding onto a blank disc first. Or like, maybe go in steps? Teach her Water Gun first, then give her a technical record with Scald on it. It might be easier to teach her how to spit searing hot water when she knows how to spit water to begin with.

Water gun! *Lexi swims in happiness* Sushi: Ok its really simple. First you drink some water, keep it in your cheek and then you blow. *Lexi gets some water in her mouth and then blows weakly. She manages to spray only a bit of water* Sushi: Thats it! I made a post a few days ago about being impressed my betta, Sushi, was 4 years old (going on 5) aaaand he passed away shortly after that post. He lived a good, long life and I’ll miss his bursts of courage and how he’d always try to fight me until I fed him. ♥
