It still hurts sometimes. It’ll be the middle of the day & I’ll see your favorite color or catch a scent of you in the air. I try to remain level headed but I break down every time. Why did you leave me alone? Seems like I tried to drink away your memory a few times.. Every time I tried to find myself, I looked for you instead.. You broke my heart & you took a chunk of my soul with you when you left. It felt like my light was ripped from my eyes & torn to shreds. You’ll never come back to me. And I am trying my damn hardest to be okay with that...

I Hate Goodbye

Today my dear Grandmother was returned to the galaxy. She lived a hard life and never stopped fighting. She was a survivor and she gave what she could even when she had none to spare. If you see a little red star shinning brighter than the rest say "Hello Jolene".

Kinda don't have a real grasp of my emotions through this. I couldn't cry when I got the call but now I can't seem to stop crying.
