DON’T ASK DON’T TELL only affected sexual orientation. Transgender Members still have to hide who they are and can still get discharged for it. My friend was personally called in after her (previously he)sex changed, AFTER they had her do what they needed they discharged her for being transgender.

These members have fought in wars, have protected our own and yet if they hint at the fact they are transgender they will be removed because they are “incapable” to serve. Although plenty other countries allows transgender citizens into their military.

They have fought for our rights for years but theirs get taken away. Why? Because the ignorance and intolerance of others.

So please sign the petition so that MY brothers and sisters can serve proudly and openly.
