Tyranids vs Orks

Tyranid Ripper Swarm, Hive Fleet Leviathan 12-Jul-2023
These new Nids are something else, eh?
Daily Drawing #54
Played with my TTRPG group last night, so drew my character The Behemoth. We did fight skeletons but actually I grabbed the necromancer and slammed him into a skeleton instead of this lmao. Just didn't wanna draw a whole extra guy.
We're playing Savage Worlds in the Rippers setting! Basically Victorian monster hunters. SW doesn't have classes but they're essentially a Barbarian, with a berserk ability and everything. Rippers specifically has this system of implanting body parts from supernatural creatures to give abilities and such, so Behemoth is a hand-to-hand fighter with werewolf claws. And is full of fiend's blood, and is abnormally big. I'm a sucker for dark experiments and body horror. I usually play magic users in DnD so I was purposefully trying to make a very different character. They've been pretty cool to play so far!
The Demigod, the Ripper, and the Heretic
Pairing: Legacies Sebastian x Ben x Male Reader
“This date is so boring, Luv,” Sebastian whines as he and Y/N drive on the roads of Mystic Falls. Y/N was in the driver’s seat as he rolled his eyes at his boyfriend’s comment. “This isn’t a date, Seb. I told you I had a premonition of a car accident and a burned body in the middle of the road.”
“Then why did you invite me?”
“Quit complaining. I could just leave your ass on the side of the road.”
“You wouldn’t, Luv,” Sebastian said.
“Try me,” Y/N mockingly warned.
“You sure this premonition of yours is major? I mean I know they’re all major, but what’s so urgent about this one?”
“I don’t know. I just have this feeling that something important is supposed to happen. And with my uncle Alaric in a coma and Hope with her humanity off. We–I need a win right now. I need to feel like we’re doing something good and helping make someone’s life better,” Y/N said.
“We will, Luv,” Sebastian said. “Together.”
“Thanks Seb.” Y/N smiled as it quickly vanished from his face as they saw a crash site up ahead. The one from his vision. Y/N slowed down and pushed the breaks of the car as he brought it to a stop. Y/N and Sebastian got out of the car as they surveyed the car wreck. A red '75 Corvette.
It belonged to Kaleb, but there was no sign of the vampire–dragon hybrid. There was however, a body lying in the middle of the road, just like in Y/N’s premonition. Y/N and Sebastian rushed towards the body, as it let out a pained groan. The body was burned so badly that it was difficult to identify who it was.
“It’s going to be okay,” Y/N promised. “You’re going to be okay.”
“Y/N, Sebastian!” Both boys turn to see Jed limping out of the wreckage of the car. He had a gash on his forehead and he was clutching his left arm as it appeared to be broken. “Jed,” Y/N said as he ran to his friend and examined him and his injuries. Luckily, none of his wounds were life-threatening. He would be fine in a few hours thanks to his werewolf abilities.
“Jed, what happened?” Sebastian asked.
“Kaleb and I were hunting an Argus from a tip he got from a phone call and we were searching the woods for it when we came across a dead corpse with its skin and eyes gone,” Jed said. “We stopped the monster, and later on, the dead body got back up and That’s when we were on our way back to the Salvatore School to get the body some help when suddenly, Kaleb lost control of his car and wrecked it.”
“Why would Kaleb do that?” Y/N wondered.
“No idea,” Jed said as he walked closer to the corpse. “Are you alive?” The burned body opened its eyes to reveal that they were a bright blue as it gasped out. “Oh, good. You’ve got eyes now.” Y/N noticed the figure couldn’t speak. Only grunt and groan. “But no tongue.”
“All right, we should get you both out of here, then go searching for Kaleb when we come back,” Sebastian said.
“Too late,” a voice says.
Y/N, Sebastian, and Jed turn to see Kaleb walking towards them, dragon wings sprouting from his back. “Kaleb…” Y/N said as he got in front of the burned person and Jed, Sebastian at his side.
“This doesn’t concern you, Y/N, Sebastian, Jed,” Kaleb said. “This is between me and him.” Kaleb pointed to the burned man.
“Well, I’m making it my concern,” Y/N stated. “I don’t know what’s going on with you, but you need to back off, Kaleb.”
“Oh, I’m not the one you should be concerning yourselves with,” Kaleb smiled.
Sebastian frowned. “What do you mean, mate?”
“Umm… Guys?” Jed’s shaky voice could be heard as Y/N and Sebastian turned to where Jed was pointing his finger to. The son of Stefan Salvatore and his Ripper boyfriend looked up at a dark, shadowy figure floating a few feet above them. It opened its blood red, shining eyes as it let out an inhuman scream.
“What the bloody hell is that thing?! Sebastian gasped.
“It looks like a Fury,” Jed said.
“A Fury? Like from mythology? The dog-faced women from hell?” Y/N asked.
“Yup, looks like it.”
“That’s not possible.”
The Fury moved in closer as did Kaleb, and something tells Y/N that they weren’t after them, but the burned body on the ground. The question is, why? “Jed, get in the center with the body,” Y/N commanded as he and Sebastian stood in front of their opponents. “Seb, you stop Kaleb from hurting this person, and I’ll handle the Fury.”
“Oh, sure. Give me the one that can breathe fire from his mouth,” Sebastian joked.
“You’ll be fine. You’re older which means you’re stronger and can overpower Kaleb in a vamp fight.” Y/N looked into the Fury’s cold eyes. “I,on the other hand, have my work cut out for me, as I have no idea how to vanquish a Fury.”
Kaleb charged forward as Sebastian stepped closer too. “Kaleb, mate? Let’s talk this out.” Kaleb threw a punch that Sebastian dodged and threw one of his own, causing Kaleb to stumble back a bit at the older vampire’s superior strength. “You son of a bitch,” Kaleb said as his eyes glowed an amber color.
Y/N looked up at the floating Fury. “I don’t know why you’re after this person, but why don’t you just go back to wherever the hell you came from?” The Fury screeched out and something told Y/N it wasn’t hi. The creature flies fast forward as it weaves past Y/N and towards Jed and the body, its claws out. Just before it got to them; Y/N used his own vampire speed and strength to grab the creature just before it reached them, and threw it back. The Fury tumbled to the hard road as it got back into the air and snarled.
“That was me being nice,” Y/N warned. “Now it looks like we’ll have to do this the hard way.” Y/N made a fist and surged it upward towards the Fury as a stream of fire came out. It hit the creature as it began to wail and thrash at the flames on its body. Y/N thought that would have been the end, but the Fury charged once again towards the young Heretic. Y/N thrusted both arms out as a stream of powerful winds came out and slammed the Fury into a nearby tree as it fell on the ground. Y/N knew that the creature wasn’t finished yet. Not by a long shot. He needed to stop it right here, and now. Y/N waved both hands as the ground beneath them began to rumble and shake as a fissure opened up underneath the fallen Fury as Y/N could see the glow of molten magma under the earth’s crust.
“Say hi to Kai for me,” Y/N said as he blasted the spot of the opening with lightning as it cracked underneath the blast as the Fury fell through the hole and its screeches echoed off the walls of the cavern as Y/N closed the chasm back up.
The young Heretic turned to see Sebastian and Kaleb still fighting. Sebastian had the advantage in strength and speed, but Kaleb had the power. Y/N could see Kaleb’s eyes glow. Kaleb opened his mouth towards Sebastian, his throat filling with a glowing red glow. Y/N speeded toward them just as the dragon’s fire shot from Kaleb's mouth headed towards the older vampire. Y/N blew on the palm of his hand, creating a powdery ice that extinguished Kaleb’s attack.
“Kaleb, you have to stop,” Jed said.
“He made me wreck my car,” Kaleb growled as he looked at the charred man. He opened his mouth for another fire attack as Y/N formed a ball of water in his hand as he threw it at Kaleb, encasing the vampire-dragon in a wall of water. Y/N flung out his hand as he sent Kaleb out of the wall of water with telekinesis as the hybrid fell and rolled onto the road. Y/N carefully walked up to Kaleb as he groaned a bit.
“I’m sorry about this, Kaleb.” Y/N snapped his fingers as Kaleb became unconscious. Sleeping spell. Sebastian came strolling up to his boyfriend. “You couldn’t have done that in the first place?” Y/N rolled eyes, but smiled. “And miss the chance to save your sexy ass? Not a chance.”
Sebastian smiled filthy. “Oh, so you think my ass is sexy, Luv?”
“You know it is.”
Before Sebastian could reply, Jed interrupted. “Guys, I hate to break up your flirt fest, but we need to get out of here.”
“Right, sorry.” Y/N blushed as he walked back towards the burned body. Y/N knelt down towards the man, his clear blue eyes looking up at Y/N, curiously. There was something that Y/N felt when he looked into this man’s eyes. He didn’t know it at this exact moment, but this man was going to prove to be an epic kind of love for both Y/N and Sebastian.
Rippers V: it was, indeed, werewolves. Also, the London Lodge, with old friends and new weapons.
They attacked in the lower reception: of course they did, they would not risk endangering whoever planned the attack. Good Prince Albert went downstairs to fight along Sir Grayson and Lady Vivienne, not heeding the Queen's advice to stay put. Raven suited up, Feli recovered everyone's stuff from the wardrobe, and the wolves were dispatched as early as possible, but not early enough.
When Good Prince Albert died the press blamed typhoid.
The London Lodge is the busiest of the known world. It has labs, rooms, a large common room and a lab. In the lab, Raven met a white-haired man who was about to try what looked like a big crossbow, but with stakes instead of arrows.
"It's a staker. My wife and her men use it against vampires routinely, but I'm testing out a modification to use against werewolves. Come, young lad, try and shoot!"
While Raven was slammed against the wall by the mere recoil of the weapon, giggling as a small madman, Sir Grayson and Felicita were concentrated on a smaller table where a man was holding a bullet.
"...and the phosphor, therefore, blows up on impact. We call them Dragonbreath."
"Delightful! Sir, I really think you could use a few of those."
"I think so too. What about fifty..."
"Ve'll have time for that" Ubert was already geared up in western clothes and followed by a large man wearing a white wolf skin and looking like someone who just popped out of a forest hitting every ugly branch on his way out "Ezio is tracking the bastards doovn and ve tracks bring to the docks. Ve're going undercover"
"Undercover" worked out not just fine. The filthy dock workers and the sailors and whores and pretty much anyone else mistook us for cops, much to Grayson's chagrin. Anyway, the tracking brought us to a French ship where we could hear song and dance.
And so, the Not Really Planned Plan to Jump the Ship sprung in action.
Raven went up the ship with a grappling hook. Yes he has a grappling hook. Ubert jumped in, Grayson followed suit.
The sailors heard the noise and came to the ramp to check cursing up a storm in French.
Felicita went to buy a cheap bottle of wine, propped up her boobies and tried to seduce the sailors into leaving a space for Vivienne to sneak in undetected.
It worked enough for Vivienne to sneak in invisible (Rippertech!) and displace the ramp so that some sailors fell down.
Feli made a show of helping them while asking in Latin Raven to help her out with the grappling hook. He obliged, she tried climbing, failed and fell into the Thames.
Asufer called forth his water elemental to help her out. Said elemental is a giant squid and appreciated Feli's butt way too entusiastically. It was...quite the beginning of an hentai. (Btw Asufer's player is my husband, so it was just funny).
Feli got pushed face down on the ship, mud-covered, and at risk of sickness because it's the fucking Thames.
While the Victorian Hentai Hijinks ensued, Ubert and Grayson found some of the sailors, drunk off their mind, that were still drinking, smoking and playing cards. Grayson went forth with a scoff, Ubert remained, got a couple of bottles of really good champagne (part of the ship's cargo) and heard them say, in the broken and common language shared by drunk European, that some of their companions got sick with a weird malady, and so they had to kill them. Their bodies were still in the infirmary.
Felicita, Raven, Grayson, Ubert and Vivienne all found themselves there.
"Vai are you so muddee?"
"Thames. But you have a bottle! Pour up, I'm starting to get cold here."
"Ven you need to get clean. You red already? Vat kind of a Frazer are you, getting tipsy so soon?"
"Lads, I need you lucid. Vivienne?"
"They were starting to turn. Apparently, they stopped them in time. A good reason to celebrate."
Grayson, Raven and Ubert just jumped off, Vivi and Feli went down with the act of a noble woman who had to run after her wild son with her maid.
On land, Ezio and Joseph tracked the werewolves again, track pointing towards the sewers.
It was a pack of two adults and four young. They turned human on their death.
"Ve could have kept one of the young..."
"Ubert, no."
"Fine. Anyway, how do ve clear the corpses?"
"May I suggest fire?"
"In a wet sewer, Grayson?"
"Better ideas, Noveau Riche Vivienne?"
While they were talking, Ubert and Feli were already Applying Boom To Problem (handgranades and Feli's Blow-Up teapots). She built a timer, they all escaped, and the morning newspaper told of the Blood Curdling Bombing of the docks. We had to escape from London, under the Barker's suggestion, but we got some neat implants.
Now, on the countryside, it was time to address politics.
