Huh.  I mean, this version of Smoochum retains all the problems baked into Jynx’s design.  Of course they couldn’t keep this design.  But I like it better than the Smoochum we got.  I think it’s just because she’s smiling.  She seems happy to meet us.

Rippu/Lipp/Beta Smoochum

This hairstyle is so cute, I wish they’d kept it for Smoochum! Although I can understand wanting to make her design different after the Jynx controversy. The way her dress/onesie/body(?) is depicted makes me think of Maggie Simpson somehow. Honestly, with the obvious design flaw gone, I kind of prefer this design over Smoochum overall.
