Alpha sat back after being knocked away by the puppet. His face had changed from the grin he had to a stale grimace.

The beast, now being properly addressed as Nekyu, made Alpha sick. It kept getting cut, beaten, stabbed, and knocked around. It had none of the power he tasted when he ate the chunk earlier.

Spirit needs to finish it off. Weaklings need to die.

The beast lunged away and devoured it own severed arm in a struggle to keep up with the spirit.

It's really on it's last leg...

The beast charged back at the puppet and master, attacking with all of it's might. Alpha stood up and watched them. Light grey flames formed in his hands as he glared at the spirit.

She's so disgustingly beautiful, but her voice ...

Alpha Lifts his hand and shoots a few firebolts at the spirit.

"Can you stop talking? your voice is pissing me off."

Yasu gets up from the hit the spirit just gave. She looks at the spirit, a bit upset and yells "If you truly are Hip, you should know we mean no harm!". Betrayal, she felt betrayed by Hip. This whole time it was never him? He was NEVER alive? She grabs Raine and lifts her up. "I'm sorry hun, let's go home okay?" as she pats her head to try to make the child stop crying. She looks over at Melcy and gives her a sign to head back home. "Also, we need to have a talk about your friend, Melcy." she says to her as she turns away from the spirit. She looks over her shoulder one last time and then heads back home.

It's time to move on..

The fight was enjoyable to watch. Another joined the fray, it wasn't their fight, but they still took a chunk from the beast. Strings? A puppet? No.... a spirit, familiar yet distant, very different. All the more intriguing, interesting... defining. He had only even begun to consider selling some of his first aid wares before this happened. The beast and puppet in a clashing battle, some demon from above intervening, the torn family. But more importantly, there was a threat, of death? Haha.... this body wouldn't allow such permanence, no, this was a fight worth watching, worth enjoying. The thrill, the wonders.... it's not often one gets to see such driving forces clashing in battle. 

Temptation, such driving temptation for battle. Blood, death, magic, beasts.... threats. Fight.... no. "No... I can't fight yet. But I can still enjoy the one before me..." he muttered from his shady location just behind the trees. He had goals to keep, plans to maintain... a weapon to craft. The crystals.... they should be ready. The weapon is close... but a little fun couldn't possibly hurt. No. Still not his fight. So tempting, but only if they stay true to their word. The threat. Fire... he crafted a flame at the tip of his wand, not a small fire it could create, not short of terrible consequences.... save it. Use it only if the time is right. The time is not right. Fire... is too tempting... it's unforgivable.

Sweet blood.

Strong beast.

Alpha noticed too late as he tumbled a few feet before catching himself. He chewed and swallowed the chunk he had ripped off of the beast. Licking the blood off of his lips he smiled again. The beast growled at him before he noticed sudden motion. He looked up and saw the beast, who was facing the corpse, being held by his neck.

Corpse lives? Then not corpse. Strings. Puppet? Corpse not corpse but puppet. Puppet has master. Master has power. Master isn't there. Spirit?

Alpha fallowed the strings and saw a floating woman. He grinned a fang filled grin. His eye's beaming red. He heard it yell at him and the other creatures there. Leave? Why leave if it's only getting started. The big dogs finally show their fangs. Alpha wanted to see who'd come out on top. Tender meat is always best after all.

He couldn't hold back his laughter anymore as he stood up and brushed his hair back a little. A woman yelled from behind him. He looked at her with his slightly regained composure.

"Hehe, come on baby. You're not even scarred yet. Besides, the night is still young."

He looked back at the beast and the puppet. The master looked much more tasty, but he wanted more of the beast. It had it's fill, why not let others.

After all, sharing is caring.

Reply to this and that

Yasu ignores Raine, that is desperately crying to her mother. She glares at the woman. "A spirit? Who is she.." thinks Yasu. She falls on her knees when she sees Hip again. Joy, she felt joy to see him, but she was confused. He did not look like himself. Puppet.. Hip was a puppet..?

Yasu suddenly yells "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIP? WHAT DID YOU DO!"

She is so confused and out of herself, so exausted. All she wanted was to wake up from this really bad nightmare.

Quickly coming back to her senses Raine took a few steps back as she realized what had just happened. A gasp escaped her mouth as she rushed over to Yasu.

"M-Mom? Are you ok?!"

Her eyes brimmed with tears as she shook Yasu's arm nervously. She felt horrible for letting herself go hostile when she should have been protecting her family. 

"W-We have to get out of here... Something is wrong with papa he..."

Turning her head she seen the woman behind Hip, she couldn't understand what was going on at all. Was he a puppet this whole time? Or did this woman somehow bring him back? All she knew was that they had to get out of here. NOW.

The sound of death. The sound of victory. The sound Alpha knew and loved. From his birth "Crunch" had been the one sound he loved most. The breaking of Bone, Scale, Steel. The Tearing of Skin, Flesh, People. 

"Crunch"

blood had been spilled. Alpha had been watching and listening, the beauty of the sound made him shiver. The Color of the blood and flesh made him Long for a taste.

"Crunch"

Screams. Crying. Hate. Alpha felt the rage and sorrow pouring from the creatures that were staring and fighting the beast over it's kill.

"Crunch"

Fighting. Steel smashing into skin. Tears. The weaklings tried to fight over the corpse, but were losing. Alpha wanted to wait and get the scraps. A head, an arm, maybe a leg or two.

He couldn't sit back anymore.

His claws sharp, begged to stab and cut. His fangs screamed to sink into something with the blessed "Crunch" he longed for.

He Smiled, unable to hold it back anymore.

He launched himself at the best, His claws and fangs sank into the beasts wings.
