making this a separate post but @booksandberries asked for isaac lore so here it is (thank you thank you) warning: this is LONG cause im a big yapper so i'm sorry in advance
the first thing you need to know is that he's a character i created as part of a story with friends, so other characters that appear in his story belong to other people and his lore is definitely not the whole story!! but i will only really expand on characters that are my own, and inevitably rio since he is so intertwined in isaac's lore. the second is that his story is based in the universe of the creen creek series, which is a fantasy series with its own magic system and rules. i won't get into details cause this will become super long otherwise, but i highly recommend reading the books because they are incredibly good and altered my brain chemisty in irreversible ways. to summarize the context of the books, it is a world where everything is the same except there are werewolves and witches and magic and they are unknown to normal people. there are no like abo dynamics, instead it follows traditional wolf pack rules: alphas are pack leaders, betas are regular pack members, and omegas are wolves without packs that have gone feral. wolf packs also tend to have a witch whose magic helps protect and strenghten the pack and their territory.

yay!! castelli pack! or at least the very first concept of it. each character joins the pack at different times and under different circumstances. i guess it's also worth mentioning that the castelli pack is based in CANADA and are not connected to any of the canon characters or events from the series which is set in the US. okay. isaac. here we go isaac is originally a human who got turned into a wolf and ends up joining the castelli pack. but it's a looot more complicated than that since he is initially a werewolf hunter. i guess i'll explain isaac's lore in chronological order lol which i've never done before. i'll keep it in 2 parts, Before joining the castelli pack, and After. also look at this cool age lineup that is.. really outdated lol..
Before the Castelli Pack Isaac's story starts when he is a human. He is born into a clan of hunters. His father was a hunter and his mother was a regular human who knew nothing of magic. She was from Mexico and traveled to Canada as an exchange student, met Isaac's dad at university, and was accidentally dragged into his world (he saved her from a feral wolf). They fell in love and after graduating she moved there permanently, got married, and had Isaac. And then they died 10 years later from a wolf attack. At 10, Isaac was taken in by his uncle, his father's older brother and clan leader, and his cousin Diana, who is older than Isaac for about 2 years. They become practically siblings and best friends. (Diana's mother is not in the picture). Somewhere between 12 and 14 he and Diana oficially start to train to become hunters. They have a friendly rivalry and become very competitive with each other. Diana is set to succeed the clan after her father, and Isaac to be her number two. At 16 they can go through a trial to become full fledged hunters. Diana passes her trial first.

When Isaac is 16 and about to undergo his own trial, his Uncle dies in a hunt, and Diana unwillingly succeeds the clan at 18. Isaac becomes a full fledged hunter and stays by her side to support her, but the next two years are really rough on both of them. Isaac gets gradually sick of death and violence and losing people. Diana's demeanor changes and becomes consumed with hatred towards wolves. At 18 Isaac decides to leave for college and have a shot at a normal life. He starts living in a college dormitory away from the responsibilites of his clan, and things are more or less calm for the next 2-3 years. (isaac's college arc is something ive been rotating in my mind and is entirely separate from the castelli pack story. he had a roommate named jamie).
He is 21 when he gets called back to his home to go on a big hunt. He realizes things have changed since he's been gone. Though Diana is the leader in name, there is someone else calling the shots, and that person convinces everyone to attack the Castelli Pack, a wolf pack living in a territory not too far from theirs. Isaac is worried about Diana's so he agrees to go along to watch over her, although he has a bad feeling about the whole thing. Shit goes down. Basically Isaac receives a critical blow, is bleeding out on the ground when he is found by Vitor, the Alpha of the Castelli pack (and Rio's older brother) looking near dead himself. Vitor's last deed is, for some reason, saving Isaac's life by turning him and having him be cured by werewolf healing magic. Next thing he knows he is awake, alive, and feeling an inexplicable pull inside him. He follows it to the source and finds. not Vitor. But RIO. Rio is now Alpha of the Castelli Pack. And the only survivor. and thus the tragic and epic slow burn enemies to lovers shifter romance that is risaacTM and the start of our dysfunctional little pack begins with this iconic first meeting
