thinking about how the background chorus of teens coming in at the climax of 'nerdy prudes must die' (the song) could represent ritchie thinking of his friends, the people who (have come to) like and respect him, and that being what inspires him to declare that he's not a loser. thinking about it and crying internally.

I kinda wanna start a problem that honestly/hopefully shouldn’t genuinely be a problem but is seems controversial for some reason

Nerdy Prudes Must Die is, to me, the least attention grabbing out of the other Hatchetfield musicals. And without the corporate jargon, I mean it’s my least favorite and imo the least interesting. Like yes, yay, the Lords in Black, yippee. But I was only convinced to watch NPMD when I figured out they show up. What I knew prior was, “High school romance and accidental* high schooler murder.” And I don’t enjoy romance, and it was never mentioned in the posts I saw that the murder continues. And I love that part of the musical, I love anything that has to do with superhuman things. Especially when it comes to murder, I love ghost Max, and I love the LiB. They’re evil and great and should not be redeemed.

But then there was the REST. I was so bored when basically anything and everything was happening. There are many great scenes, and I bet if they were memorable I would tell you them, but they aren’t. Except for the ones in the songs I like, those I can remember. I just feel like the other two were so much more interesting and fun. Why don’t I like this one? Is it the romance? That can’t be it I love Peter and Steph, especially when they’re together. Is it Ruth and Ritchie’s entire existence? No, they’re pretty decent from what I remember. SO WHAT IS IT?

SERIOUSLY I NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME AT THIS POINT.
