Today I want to share one of my favourite photo of myself. I was waiting the right moment for share it because even if it doesn't looks like, it has something really intimate, my mum caught a very genuine portrait of me. I want to share it today because it's a particular moment for me, a good moment to expose myself a little be more. There are celebration which mark the year, and this, for me, is one of those. Today we " brúsom la vécia ", which means "burn the old woman" in my dialect , we make a giant granny puppet and we burn her. It interesting that this celebration it is just after the Germanic Ostara celebration and this make me think about the connection between different people and how much our roots are related to others one. So tonight I'll be there, I'll be celebrating spring, the life coming back after a long sleep, the hope for a better future and the cycle of life and death. Solve et Coagula. Remember that the rituality it is important, it keep us connected with our roots and let us grow as better individuals. In probably one of the two most important moment of the year for my family, I wish you all the best, and I go to eat some boiled potatoes before to drink some gorgeous spicy warm wine.
