Today, I'd like to mark the rich culture of Wales as we honour St. David's Day, a day that holds a special place in the hearts of the Welsh people. This day pays homage to the patron saint of Wales, St. David, whose legacy is woven into the very fabric of Welsh identity.

🌼 Daffodils and Leeks: The national emblems, the daffodil and the leek, take center stage in today's celebrations. The bright yellow daffodils bloom as a symbol of renewal and the coming of spring, while the humble leek, worn traditionally by the Welsh, is a nod to the vegetable St. David is said to have recommended to his soldiers in battle.

🎶 Eisteddfodau and Song: St. David's Day is also a time when the Welsh showcase their artistic talents. Eisteddfodau, cultural festivals, bring communities together to celebrate literature, music, and performance. The Welsh are known for their beautiful hymns and stirring choral music that resonate through the hills and valleys of this picturesque land.

Inside the American Dream Mall Tamagotchi Spring Celebration Event

Spring is here, and to celebrate Bandai Namco US hosted a Tamagotchi Spring Celebration event at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This mall is also where their very first Bandai Namco Store is located.

We were in attendance and we really enjoyed our time at this event! Both Bandai Namco US and Beacon Media Group did an awesome job at making everyone feel welcomed! Hosted in both the B and C courts of the enormous mall, there was plenty of room for all Tamagotchi fans.

In the B court Bandai Namco US had a Tamagotchi shop setup where you could buy various Tamagotchi devices and merchandise, and we saw lots of sold out signs! It seemed like almost everyone was buying the plushies and devices. Oh, did we mention that the Tamagotchi Uni was sold at a special price of just $40.00, thats’s an awesome deal!

After shopping til you drop at the shop, you can head over to the center of the B court where you would get three services. First was face painting, get some cute Tamagotchi decals on your face! Second was temporary tattoos, which were adorable spring themed Tamagotchi characters that you could rock. Third, and last was the nail art! You could not only get all of your nails painted, but Tamagotchi decals on them too, it was super adorable.

Before walking over to the C court, which is where you will find American Dream’s Secret Garden decorated for the event, you’ll get to the start of the egg hunt! This was one of our favorite activities. Simply grab a egg hunt card from the start, and follow the map to stores that have an egg hunt sign by their entrance.

Each store will give you an exclusive Tamagotchi spring celebration sticker for your card! Characters included Marutchi, Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, and Mimitchi! After you get all your stickers, head back to the start to get your exclusive Tamagotchi Spring Celebration trading card!

Next up, head to the American Dream Secret Garden at court C where you will see Tamagotchi characters throughout the garden, and even in the foundation! There’s a photo booth where Mametchi spent some time posing with fans, and everyone’s favorite, the cotton candy booth! Fans were able to wait in line to get their hands on a Mametchi shaped cotton candy on a stick! It was supposed to be Mametchi’s full body, but the line and wait likely was the reason for them switching over to just Mametchi’s face.

We do want to call out that this event was very busy, the turnout definitely exceeded our expectations. The Tamagotchi shop always had a line, merchandise was selling out, several booths had at least 1-2 hour waits. This is all good news for the Tamagotchi brand! There was so much excitement in the air about the upcoming Tamagotchi Plaza game for Nintendo Switch!

The event runs from Saturday, March 29th, 2025 through Sunday, March 30th, 2025 at the American Dream Mall, be sure to check it out!

Bandai Namco Mexico Hosting Tamagotchi Spring Celebration at Toreo Parque Central

Bandai Namco Mexico has just sent out a save the date for their upcoming Tamagotchi Spring Celebration! Bandai Namco US just hosted their Tamagotchi Spring Celebration, and now it’s time for one in Mexico! Toreo Parque Central is an enclosed shopping center in the greater Mexico City area.

The event will be hosted on the second floor. No further information on the event right now, but more details to follow. Block the dates of Friday, April 25th, 2025, Saturday, April 26th, 2025, and Sunday, April 27th, 2025 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM.
