“Just admiring the view, My Lady.”

He couldn’t help himself on that front - not with her standing there illuminated by nothing but the candlelight. Those exquisite Rivaini robes that “remind her so much of her mother’s” barely clinging to her slim frame, the shining gold fabric pooling around her in a way that leaves him breathless. And Maker, he can’t forget those lovely jewels that hang from her neck and shoulders - elaborate chains and crystals that actually did belong to her mother. They hum, echoes of her magic as they glow ever-so-softly against her golden skin, just shades darker than her jewelry. He can’t decide whether he hates or loves the Rivani for their traditions - those bewitching and ornamented jewels that show one's status. Of course, the revered hedge witches had some of the most extravagant pieces of all, just like the very one that’s draped over Oni’s delicate shoulders.

Maker’s breath, it’s his favorite view.

But Vanitas is not as he seems especially after Riku decided to let him and all his unversed stay at his apartment in Twilight Town but who is to say that behind that annoyance Vanitas might secretly care for Riku like no other.
