Starters

Shornhelm-style goats cheese bites

Moreish goats cheese rolled with seasonal herbs and spices, fried in crispy beer batter. Served with Northpoint Port barbecue dip

Loaded wedges

A tavern favourite! Spiced chunky potato wedges topped with crumbled echatere-milk roquefort, melted mozzarella from Hinault Farm, bacon bits, bonito flakes, sour cream, and fresh chives

Macaroni salad

Cold macaroni salad with creamy garlic sauce, smoked ham, peas, and shredded cabbage

Silverhoof Vale horse's milk burrata

Served atop sliced heirloom tomatoes and baby rucola salad, with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar syrup

Mains

Northpoint roast seagull

Whole rotisserie gull, served with an array of dipping sauces (pick up to 3): tartare, Northpoint Port barbecue, aioli, creamy herbs, and Wrothgar-inspired sedgegrass mayo

The Sloshing Tankard's famous onion soup

Cooked for two days with Northpoint Port and topped with crusty bread and our house cheese blend!

Northpoint seafood platter (serves two)

Battered Northpoint Cod, crab legs, lobster claws and tail, coal-grilled Hake, mussels cooked in white wine, cheese-baked clams, and boiled prawns. Served with tartare sauce and fresh lemon wedges

Crocodile po'boy

Rivenspire croc pieces rubbed in The Sloshing Tankard's secret marinade, served in a homemade baguette with Orcish radish salad and aioli

Desserts

The Lighthouse Keeper's toffee pudding

Our beloved Northpoint Lighthouse Keeper's favourite dessert for over a decade! Decadent steamed toffee pudding with a Northpoint Port-infused caramel centre. Served with vanilla ice cream or clotted cream

Berry-cherry brown betty

Mixed seasonal berries and cherries in Wrothgarian wrathberry treacle, baked with sweet oat biscuit crumbs

Pear-and-rhubarb strudel

Caramelised spiced pears, candied rhubarb, and lemon quark cheese baked in our homemade puff pastry

Chocolate cheesecake

Rich 85% cocoa-infused cheesecake, served cold with Wrothgarian wrathberry compote and clotted cream

Lady Cassandra Dorell (neé Gautier)

If there was anyone who benefitted from the Montclair's incident, it would be Lady Cassandra Dorell; the second wife of Baron Alard Dorell. He wedded her about eight years after his first wife passed away and gave him three children... Adrian, Genevieve and Regina. Smart children, they were mere shadows compared to Ellic Dorell, their half-brother and the heir of Northpoint.

However, with Ellic failed to defend Northpoint against the Montclair and even went as far as being seduced by Lleraya Montclair, Baron Alard Dorell decided to imprison and disown his eldest son. With Ellic gone, Cassandra's son Adrian was named the heir of Northpoint.

"Perhaps even the most terrible of tragedies has Akatosh' light shining upon it," she once said. Cassandra fled with her young children away from Northpoint just a night before Lleraya's arrival.

Maybe she knew something?

You feel a chill in the air. It isn't quite autumn yet, but the days grow shorter and a somnolence begins to settle over the world. Time to retreat to your cozy little cabin in the woods. 🌲🍄🍂

A transformation of Ravenhurst in Rivenspire – something I've wanted to do ever since I saw that wonderful waterfall view in the back.
