I love how in the end of riverdale season two, when Cheryl put the red southside serpents jacket on, you could see it in her face how she knew she was with her people. Like, you can physically see it, how she knew that this is where she belonged. After feeling so alone for so long, she finally found the right fit.
archie andrews is literally the driest character in this entire show kevin keller is more exciting than him and his entire plot line is just one big gay stereotype archie should have been killed off instead of jason blossom im tired of his white ass
tbh in regards to the Core Four™ and all the shipping conflict i could not give less of a shit, i just want them all to bE OKAY i want ronnie being open w her friends, focused on improving herself, working thru all the shit w her parents. i want betty being free from her mom's oppressive behavior, getting a storyline not related to her still having a crush on archie, being a kickass journalist. i want archie healed from his abusive attachment to fake grundy, able to recognize what she was doing to him, reconciled with betty and jug and able to pursue his passions like a normal kid. i want jughead to have his best friend back, to feel like he belongs somewhere, to actually HAVe a place to live. ye the romantic subplots/iconic love triangle is gonna be a thing, but i really just wanna see these kids able to work through the things that help them grow as individual people

concept: grundy is in jail. archie and jughead are best friends again. ronnie and betty are both over him and dating each other. all four sit sharing platonic milkshakes at pop's while josie and the pussycats serenade in the background
i'm still team holding on hope for a tabitha/veronica/jughead endgame rather than just break vj up permanently once tabitha comes back into the picture but i do also think there's the possibility that the show might let this version of the characters continue to exist (off screen) post them returning to modern day in order to facilitate a '50s veronica/jughead endgame
