The Bear in a River

Kaura stood in the halls of Riverrun, shivering. It had poured on her all night, and the draft that was created in the large room rather shocked her. She was used to Winterfell with its heating system and tightly sealed doors. She missed it.

It had been a long journey from King's Landing after Stannis attacked. She'd managed to steal a horse and ride her way North. Through a manner of turns and twists and avoidance of Lannisters, she had made it to the seat of the Tully family. Maybe here she might find protection.

Finally, someone came to meet her. She did not recognize his face, but she knew who it had to be. "My Lord Edmure," she said, dropping to one knee and bowing her head.
