Reunited after almost 3 years. We picked up right where we left off. Comparing leg hair growth, seeing who smelled the worst, and hopping in the river. ❤️ . . . #alabama #travel #rivershack #finditliveit #travelblogger #blogger #bloggerstyle #sunshine #travel #explore #nature #river #adventure #friends #abctravels2017 #love #travelblogger #instatravel (at Allgood, Alabama)
Not gonna be online a whole lot today because I have a gig down at the Rivershack with my dad (lookin’ at you, NOLA people).
Was gonna do backup vocals and bass, but that place has crazy feedback. Thus, we reworked a ton of shit last night. Gave a ton of the songs a different feel by adding electric uke lines… Should be cool.
Also worked out a killer acoustic version of “Feel Good Inc.” (to be played electrically, in this instance) to play (my dad's gonna play it this time). We usually do some acoustic stuff together, but like I said, damn crazy feedback…
ANYWAY, it’s apparently one of my dad’s friends’ birthday, and she requested “Sweet Home Alabama”, which, you know, should be amusing, considering neither one of us really knows that song.
(and on an a more contemptuous, angst-filled note, I have relatives visiting… and that’s stupid)
