the end of the trainee camp has left willow craving. more leisure time, more reason to neglect the lingering idea of going back to the routine that is training, more excuse to escape the stifling walls of their company building—she still finds herself leaning towards greed for anything that can fill the inexplicable void that a week away from trc had left her. maybe she’s just being too much of a child or having the inevitable phase she calls trainee woes, but when her good friend had offered the deal of a weekend getaway, willow is too blinded with temptation to even think of saying no.
that saturday night, just a whole afternoon after she had finally come home from the campgrounds, willow finds herself in jiyong’s car, almost bouncy from excitement at the promise of beach and food and nightlife. “alright, are we all set?” willow chimes as soon as she secures the seatbelt on her frame, beaming at the male on the driver’s seat. it’s not everyday where she gets an invitation from a friend—a protective older brother figure no less—to take on a mini-adventure of their own on the outskirts of seoul; if this isn’t a miraculous timing, then willow doesn’t know what else it could be.
