Last time’s project was so fun that I decided to try again! You should watch this video on Yeji noona’s channel too (link below) as she’s the one who had the idea to do it in the first place, but as expected I wanted the video on my channel too! Just for completion’s sake you know, but also because I think everyone who knows me even a bit know that I love Luxe so much! I can’t not have their covers on my channel! Anyhow please enjoy! I hope that I’m able to do Ella noona at least a bit justice!

The moment he had seen the words ‘Luxe’ and ‘dance cover’ in the same sentence, there was absolutely no helping it. Although it was a stranger he had to contact the person and offer his help, even daring enough to suggest for himself to cover the spot of the person he adored the most. In his heart he knew that he could never be as good as his idol, but if he could at least do her just a bit justice he would be incredibly happy. Either way it had been in no time that Eric had somehow ended up being one of the girls, and honestly there was just something different about working in a group of all girls instead of the mixed one from last time. Hyojeong was someone he had become familiar with in his and Minhyuk’s cover of Lil’ Touch, but other than that he didn’t know a single soul. That had however never been a problem to Eric Sohn who had no reservations about speaking to strangers. To the point where Yeji had even had to shut him up multiple times during the entire process.
Although this was Yeji’s project, the boy had been quick to pit in his own ideas fearlessly -- “are we going to be wearing make up?” had been one of them that seemed to take especially the original mastermind by surprise. When he heard that she had intended it to be more of a casual thing, not something fancy or impressive, Eric had been absolutely offended. He could not do a Luxe cover and not give it his all, so along the way he had pressured everyone into making the most of their appearances and going all out. It wouldn’t surprise him if Yeji had multiple times wanted to punch him, but this was one thing he wouldn’t back down on. If they had denied him the makeup he wouldn’t have minded much -- after all it was weird for a guy to want to wear it willingly, but he could not accept them to do this half heartedly. It was all or nothing.
ryujin couldn’t remember the last time she had spent the night at someone’s house, or someone had spent the night at hers; but she was glad she was getting to spend some quality time with yeji (not that they didn’t hang out all the time. but lately she’d been needing some good alone time with her best friend.)
so she fluffed up all her pillows on her bed and grabbed all the blankets in the apartment she could find, tossing them on her bed and the floor. her room was messy, but in a ryujin kinda way– her bed wasn’t made, her desk was littered with random tech gear, cd’s and movies stacked high on her nightstand, and everything just had this cozy yet cluttered feel to it. it wasn’t neat, but it was organized in ryujin’s own little way.
she plopped down in her desk chair and spun so she was facing the room fully. everything was ready, now she just had to wait for yeji to come over.

Seungyeon stepped out of the bus and shivered a little from the cold. She pulled her scarf up to her nose and started to walk. Tonight the girl was joining an underground dance competition, so she knew she'd warm up soon enough. She was nervous and had taken two buses early, just in case she would miss one or the bus would be late. In the end nothing went wrong, so when she arrived at the location she was quite early and there were only two other people there. Seungyeon sat down against a wall and pulled out her phone to ease the awkwardness. She fixed her hair into a tight ponytail while looking in the camera and posed for a couple of photo's. Her fingers were cold as she swiped through them to find the best one. She put her phone down for a second, rubbed her hands together en blew on them to warm them up. It only helped a little. Seungyeon picked up her phone again and typed a quick message to go with the picture, letting her instagram followers know she'd be joining the competition tonight. She had almost two hours left until it started, so she grabbed her headphones, turned on her warm-up playlist and started to stretch.
ava would be lying if she said she wasn’t buzzing with excitement as she followed the directions lily had sent to her phone. the streets were busy with people as it was a weekend evening. ava had only been in seoul for two days, but she couldn’t wait any longer to meet up with lily.
the two had met in middle school through a pen pal program hosted by their schools. lily was in cali at the time and ava had obviously been in new york. it started off as a mandatory school assignment, but it turned into a genuine friendship that both girls ended up holding onto long after the first few graded letters.
they kept up with each other through email at first, since that’s how the program was run, but then as they got a little older and joined social media, they started talking through that instead. before eventually just exchanging numbers and even talking on the phone during the weekends.
it had been hard sometimes to line up their schedules especially when they both go into high school — time zones only made it even worse. but they somehow made it work. and now, ava had officially moved to seoul, meaning the girls could actually meet in person for the first time.
the restaurant sign came into view and ava quickly typed up a message to send to lily, “i think i found it. i’m standing outside the front door and OMG it already smells so good even out here. come find me~ i don’t wanna look weird waiting inside lol.”
favorite memory from the mgas last year? did you think you deserved your spot? or should have gotten further?
jeongguk hums thoughtfully, but he really doesn’t need time to consider his answer. he’s thought plenty about the subject, but the fact that he’s signed now doesn’t really make him feel anything regarding the mgas. everything worked out in the end for him, and he’s been happy.
“favorite memory was reconnecting with yoongi during the show. we hadn’t spoken for a while,” he plays it off easily, not going into any further detail, “so i was happy–really happy–to talk to him again.”
“did i deserve my spot? i don’ know. i probably could have gotten further if i wasn’t injured, so i guess injured jeongguk got the place he deserved.”
