it was just another Wednesday night shift, he’d kicked off before the place was really deserted despite that was usually his favourite time. the empty of the night, getting his customers in when there were no distractions, just him alone with the ink and their body, giving him every chance to focus and take his time to perfect the art he was creating. people said he always did take it too seriously but for raf it was more than a job it was an outlet, one he could easily share with the world without worrying about how much he was letting people in. grabbing his stencils and rough drafts he slid them beneath his arm bidding the last remaining soul in the parlour a goodbye before he headed out onto the quiet street. there was few lights, just one lighting up the opposite football field where he could make out small groups of girls finishing up practice. he made his way over towards the field knowing it was a shortcut to the area his car was parked just behind it. normally the girl would have piqued his interest the chance to strike up a casual conversation and some flirting with hopes they’d end up back at his place writhing beneath the sheets enough to bring him pleasure for one more day. yet he was exhausted, his body continued on past them all and over to his car in the dimly lit carpark. getting closer he could just make out a shadow, a body hovering the edges of the football field jumping over the fence into the space in front of him. it stopped him right in his tracks, the sight of her he was sure he wasn’t the only shocked one, the look he knew planted on his face only reflected back on hers. his mind has run amuck the thousands of questions as to why she was here.. in front of him despite what he'd done to her. he knew how well she must have been reading him in that moment, she always could and how close he had been to giving away all his card, instead he propped himself up higher letting a smirk escape onto his lips something he was always too good at “ well... what are the chances right, is this supposed to be a coincidence lu..? running into you like this, almost like fate. i’d say it’s a surprise but i mean, think you knew pretty well i lived here right? come all this way just to find me again, either you miss me.. or you came just to have a go at me.. so which is it?”
