It shouldn't be any surprise that @ralphlauren is nailing it, but what fascinates me is how in women's fashion you can take white and tan and it legitimately creates shapes and contrasts worth paying attention to. Men need more bold contrasts in color and shade, but with women it's all about how shapes are created and a unified color palette. And RL is of course killing it in that department. Yes of course the coat is perfect, we've had decades of experimentation to find the right balance with collars and fabric weights there. But the big win here is the white turtleneck. It lengthens, rather than shorten as so many do, and appears comfortable without hanging loose or choking. But the real win here? Those cuffs. All that extra fabric intuitively screams comfort, creates nice arcing lines, but at the same time stays firmly out of the way seemingly by design. Two pieces.
