👉 I know some toxic people get weird about saying other members exist when you're talking about solo work but a; these are my genuine thoughts and b; I beg them to get a grip. 😂 That said: doesn't it feel like a twin video with Fri[end]s? Not intentionally and not in competition or anything but there are parallels! The unhappy in spaces where everyone else is happy, the brief clone, toothbrushing as a metaphor for domesticity 😂 (plus the ooh ooh ooooohs in the song)

👉 It's another video that feels like it's about authenticity, freedom and breaking out of expectation. I obviously see certain coding everywhere because I'm very fruity and my lens is super gay. I think there are queer readings of it - coloured lights in the door, the fact that they don't hold hands as they leave the construction behind - but then authenticity and freedom are just very queer themes generally so I'm not saying he just came out. Just that it might ring emotional for anyone who is restricted in any way, queer or not. 🥹
