“The one who walks along ghosts, and appreciates their breath. Holding back their inner God, tempted to bring us back from the dead, before we’d even passed. That’s just who he is, no matter what her face.”
— From “Sincerely, a Companion” (Doctor Who) by R.Marose
“Human beings are never supposed to know their lives, they are meant to live a life. A long and dreaded, but beautiful life. That will end suddenly, and unknowingly.”
— From “The Day of Answers” by R.Marose
I am not just losing paths but I am losing lives, the ones I will have never lived; I can see them all. I can hear my future with the drum of my mind and the beat of my heart, and feel every battle in my existence. Even the ones I have not lived. Every choice that will or will not cross, with every no or every yes, and every right or maybe left— I can't possibly tell you what I foresee without a future convulsing. The small offers of given hands or the ones they never lend. I can foretell what would happen by virtue of seeing life woven like a spider's web. Each decision could link or cross or cut or blend within the other— and then those threads that never meet until the very end, and those are the ones I call fate. So when the time has come to ask me for a choice, please sit back to watch— and try to see the calculations of the universe progress, because that is all I can ever see. Even in the corners of our current reality; I can see them all.
— R. Marose, “The web of existence”
To be touched by fate. The day of the answers, is also the day of when hope has reached its death. There are no more days of imagining yourself lost, or reliving the voidless glance into a pool which holds the very essence of presence. To know when you will fall, to know when your love will end. All there is now, and what will be, but never the life in between. The points within pages no longer words, only to be spoiled once read. To be the burdened vessel of why your life is here. Your dreams of what if become when will and how will. Human beings are never supposed to know their lives, they are meant to live a life. A long and dreaded, but beautiful life. That will end suddenly, and unknowingly.
— R. Marose, “The Day of Answers”
The price for life is one I would pay. I wish to grow with the universe, to see it’s fallings and its risings; to live past my loves and children for a life of never ending time. There are those who warn that immortality is a curse, but I think it's devastatingly beautiful. To hold the pain of everything lost, to hide history behind eyes, to only live for nothing but time. To meet the ones who are not in this realm, who will soon cross over and be greeted with culture. I would give anything to see that day, to see the sunset a million years away. Yes, I will be alone, but that is the price I will mindedly pay to see another day.
— R. Marose, “For nothing but time”
There is more to my life as I know as my own. It is never just mine, alone. When yours has reached an end, life will continue on. There is no reminiscing; there is no time. Your life from your eyes will all have been forgotten. Live your days as if they will never be buried into history, and share your stories as if you will leave a legend. Because your life is not just a life, it is a story worthy of being told.
— R. Marose “To Not Be Forgotten”
