i said earlier that i'm making a doc of all 'my' luchador 'versions' for lack of a better word, and i did fƩnix. like there isn't a lot of FUN in here. but if you care about RMWIH or my non-human luchador au or dusty childhood home or the specific versions of luchadores i draw / talk about, well i'm slowly writing them down and refsheets will be made.... one day.... under tha cut.

Identity
He doesn't specifically think about his pronouns, but everyone usually defaults to he/him. If you called him by she/her, heād probably not process youāre talking about him until he got more context but he wouldnāt mind.Ā
Probably panromantic + pansexual but doesn't really think about it? He knows the term pansexual, heās just not processed thatās what he is. He is a transgender man and doesn't mind being more out about it -- he was very closed off when in Lucha Underground and transitioned VERY young.
His main focus is lucha libre, for obvious reasons, but he likes marine biology! He and Penta both didnāt go to school, they were homeschooled for the year they had their adoptive parents and when they passed away, they didnāt pursue any education. He canāt tell you too much about the animals themselves, but heās very good at recognising which ones are which. He has an eye for detail.
He's quite a happy guy nowadays, but struggles a lot with identity. He accepts more titles ("Cruiserweight Champion", "Penta's brother", "One half of the Lucha Bros", etc.) rather than confront who he actually is. This is also shown with copying and mimicking his brother quite a lot. There's also a lot of nights of sitting at a kitchen table, he tries his best not to sleep after the 'dreamcatcher' scene with Catrina in Lucha Underground. Coffee addict.
Penta's treatment of FĆ©nix when he was younger and in older feuds was abusive and I'm tired of ignoring it. FĆ©nix forgives him and Penta improved, but they're both mentally ill, oh my GOD.
I write him to imply BPD and some form of dissociative disorder, possibly OSDD-1a as he doesn't have clear 'parts'.
Body
Quite a boxy body with flared ribs and a lot of tattoos, most of them drawn by him! He has bright orange phoenix wings, however their wingspan isnāt too wide. His tail feathers are on the longer side, and often get caught around his legs (which really frustrates him). Heās very warm to the touch and when heās dealing with stronger emotions, he gets even hotter as his feathers flare up. His bottom lip juts out quite a bit, but it used to be more visible when he was younger, he did train himself out of it more.
He has periareolar scars around his nipples and he has scars from his metoidioplasty, urethra lengthening and vaginectomy. He has other scars against his body from wrestling; some scattered on his back from being thrown through roofs and floors, some against his arms quite easily covered by his tattoos from different spots and some on his legs for the same reason. He has a few acne scars under his mask from picking at his face when he was younger. When he flares up from feelings, his scars can sometimes glow a soft orange under his skin -- heās very insecure about it.
He has eczema on his chin and philtrum from Catrinaās lick of death as well as having his lips split a lot from when he was kissed by her. The insides of his cheeks split a lot as well for the same reason, heās even more thirsty on average than he used to be from just being a phoenix. He flushes up and sweats more than most people after training.
Heās broken his arm terribly once, and now has learnt to use arm bracesā¦ and not base out with fallsā¦ He usually has black ones that match on each arm, and he has tape around his hands with slightly more on the wrist of his damaged arm.
Gear
He's more flexible in his mask styles, swapping between tassels and feathers. His eye motif stays permanently after Lucha Underground however, representing how he's become more aware of how people will take advantage of him (also because it's really cool for ominous art to make them blink or stare).Ā
He never does full facepaint anymore after Lucha Underground due to his eczema, however he will do his warpaint as it avoids his chin and philtrum! It's a rare occurrence though.
He likes to paint his nails the same colours as his gear :)Ā
General Clothing
He has a very casual style, hoodies and skinny jeans with tears, shorts with t-shirts or graphic tees with his waistband showing or walking around in a onesie. He also casually wears sweatpants and a fitted t-shirt. He wears a lot of sports jerseys -- football and basketball.
He often has a chain or two on or some rings depending on the outfit, alongside nail polish. His mask often matches his outfit!
He wears suits to more formal gatherings, but you'll see him fidgeting with the tie or his jewelry a lot. It's not the most comfortable for him, unlike his brother.
He refuses to use an artist's glove even if he is constantly messing with his tablet because of it.
