Lightning Masters and their long hair
I've imagined them (long before DR s3 came out) performing a dance as a girl band, and when it's their time to do the hair flip Jay just do The Pose because he's the first LM with the short hair.. Now they give him the long hair too but I never thought it'll be That Tall Ponytail. So I pull it down. to match them. (He can join the hair flip)

Song: Telecaster B-Boy - Surii [long vers.]
ENG Translation from here + mixed with my interpretation so I can get the meaning though I still don't get some of that (heheh)*Edit: try to change "these hands" with "their hands"; "myself as" with "these to be" (It's up to you) *You can also interpret "these hands" as 'these' same hands from other people.

Telecaster J-Jay
Sorry I know they're aiming ronin aesthetic for him, but IF he's really using unagami's ponytail, especially in lego style, it looks kinda goofy especially he's going to wear the hat which is kinda flat and this is what I think of:
I think they're trying to add more serious tone but I Can't take him seriously if his ponytail is too high. Not his previous hair would add some serious tone either but at least the hat wouldn't left hanging hgdhdhdghdh.
He's going to use the hat. Why his ponytail like. that? At what reason?? Why. It. has. to be. Unagami. Hairstyle.
So I was thinking that it seems odd if Jay, (experienced to make his own circle group when he's alone though he forgets) but when he is an Admin manager, the narrative trying to show that he's lonely? What about? His subordinates?? Their connections? none? huh? Then how he became a manager if he hadn't formed Any Bonds, to get trusted enough to be the manager but the narrative trying to show us as if he's lonely?? It's been 5 years.. (?)
And now with the whole Rogue situation I'm starting to understand his motif.
It's like.. the inability to express yourself- like.. those people around don't really accept you. Not as in they shunned you away but they want You-that-They-Supposed-to-Know. Yes, he's adaptable he could try to fit in. And as the result they know fit-in-jay.. their idea of him, not this current how-he-is-now Jay. (*This is the big picture, applies to both the Administration & the Ninja).
In the Administration maybe he has their respect, but I'm not sure he felt that way because he Knows he shouldn't be there, due to him being the master of lightning. At the end he knows they'll against him. Even if there's any compliments towards him, or any sort of appreciation would felt Fake, because it's not directed to him, but to someone he pretends to be.
Those years he's trying to fit in, to be acceptable to their standards, contrasting to Jay who's more.. (y'know how ).. Thus he has to kill some parts of him for them, making him losing himself. Maybe he realized this afterwards, so then he started to feed his "ego" (like playing games while working), doing anything that makes him felt "good" or suits him, anything that screams "This is Me".
And that's also why he accepted ras' offer, he accepted him as ele master, he "rescued" him; Though at the end he dumped him anyway ^_^
Plus the ninja wants him back, "Him" as in his family, But He doesn't feel that way. He's Not someone they expect to be. He can't pretend to be someone who they want. He knows for sure. He's tired, he wants to find his own path. He doesn't want to feel stuck/trapped. He want to be able to be himself. He wants people to see him as he is now.. not "Jay" they supposed to know.
And Tralala.. He picked a name: Rogue, his new identity to distinguish himself from Jay (whatever they think Jay is like).
He does whatever his intuition told him to, goes wherever the skies let him be.
Now I have mixed feelings if they bring him back to the ninja again hhh. It has to be good.
DR s3p2 spoilers- x understanding
(ep 17)
Nya.. buddy.. that's not how to negotiate with the literal Manager at the Administration for 5 Years, known as Agent Walker, who probably experienced at reading many Terms of Service or signing papers. No, buddy.. guilt trip is not it.. especially if he TOLD you or implying for SEVERAL TIMES that he has TRUST ISSUES towards everyone because the people he trusted were just using him for their own gain.
And You, breaking the deal, breaking the contract, just strengthen his point of WHY he SHOULDN'T trust you all ninja.
The narrative wants to put him in the bad light, but I still put some faith to the writers because.. how they write his reasoning. I really understand where he's coming from.
At this point I think IF he gets his memories back, I don't think he would want to be a ninja.. It'll take away the freedom he had as Rogue, he'll do stuff because He Had To-It Used To Be His Duty,, he would feel trapped.
They can't expect him to act like the "old self". Besides the old self, Jay Walker, who's most of the time masking a lot of stuff with jokes, lies, or other things, I don't think they know him 100% either. Yes he's talkative and extroverted, but who knows his real thoughts are like?? I've barely seen him open up to them (only to his parents). And someone who can read him too well, being able to expose his deeper thoughts (his struggles & insecurities)?? The freakin' villain as well as his opponent Nadakhan &Cole
Anyway if they want to keep the deal, they can say that those soul suckers could hinder their search for Ras so they should get rid of them first. He'll probably consider it. If he still refuses, well.. guilt tripping won't work. This is why they need someone like Zane or Pixal,, But I guess the writers want him to leave soooo.....
I feel like they're doing that dialogue for the sake of "Angst" or Build up (?)
I thought Jay's arc is going to be about acceptance.. Rogue seems to hate people's lies, I think he'll hate pre-merge Jay Imagine a character development due to self-hatred wwwww
