Vegan Pumpkin Alfredo Pasta With Rosemary & Cinnamon Roasted Pecans
Banana Nut Milkshake
1-2 servings
If you like bananas and nuts this is the milkshake for you.
Ingredients
1 sliced frozen banana
1 ½ cups butter pecan ice cream
½ cup milk
¼ cup roasted pecans
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Garnish: Whipping cream and a pecan (optional)
Directions:
In a blender add the banana, butter pecan ice cream, milk, pecans and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
In a glass(es), pour in the milkshake from the blender. Top with whipped cream and a pecan and enjoy!
Note:
To make the milkshake thicker, add less milk. To make the milkshake thinner add more milk.
If you want to avoid dairy products use milk like almond or coconut milk. Use a non-dairy ice cream. There is whipped cream made from non-dairy products.
To roast pecans melt ½ tablespoon of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Once the butter is melted add in the pecans and 1/8 teaspoon salt and stir. Put them on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast them in a 300˚ oven for about 10 minutes. Then stir. Place them back in the oven for another 5-10 minutes and then take them out. Once the pecans are cool you can use them in recipes.
