KILL-CRAZY NYMPHOS ATTACK! Update!!
Happy Halloween, everyone!
So here’s what’s happening with KCNA!...once again, our colorist completely flaked on us; not only did he not deliver as promised but he also kept us hanging for months, promising us that he’d come through. Well, that didn’t work out—as a matter of fact, the guy just disappeared completely. Poor Rob, who lives nearest the guy, was actually sending out people to find him!
But then, just when we thought that we had some kind of “colorist curse” hanging over us, super-agent and friend of KCNA! (and executive producer of AMC’s Preacher series) Ken Levin—who also happens to be owner/publisher of 1First Comics (busy guy!)—put us in touch with Salvatore Aiala, a stone-cold pro colorist whose work can be seen on a ton of books, including Dynamite’s Red Sonja, Z Nation, Hack/Slash/Eva and, most recently, on 1First’s Lark’s Killer, writer Bill Willingham’s first creator-owned series since the international bestselling Fables (DC/Vertigo).
Salvatore’s already hard at work, cranking out the pages. Unfortunately, due to the delay caused by the fuckery of our last colorist, our delivery deadline has been pushed back to early 2018. We truly, truly appreciate your patience and we completely understand your frustration, as no one is more frustrated by these production delays than we are.
