Waking up

The hospital slowed shifted from the day staff to the night shift staff, the corridors were a lot quieter now—but not a lot, Ruiri were fast asleep with his arms folded on the bed by rob’s arm, Ruiri had fall asleep not long after hans had left early that afternoon, he awoke to what seemed like shuffling, he looked over to see Rob’s eye lids fluttering, Ruiri took hold of his hand.

“Tha mi an seo, Rob, tha mi an seo,”>I’m here Rob I’m here<

Rob’s eyes soon opened, unfocused, he let out a soft breath, shuddering at first , before looking around the dimly lit room, his eyes coming to rest upon Ruiri just sat there, well leaning over him, holding his hand like he were afraid of letting go, Rob squeezed back with surprising strength—that Ruiri were sure he didn’t have after the accident.

“Haigh, a bhòidheach,” >hi handsome< Rob says a smile on his face.

At that moment Ruiri leaned in, as the two kissed, smiling against each others lips “Cò a tha ag ràdh sin? Tha thu cho tarraingeach,” >says who your just as handsome<

“Me,” Rob exclaimed

The door opened as a nurse had come into check on Rob, soon as she did rob’s bruised and scarred face went red with embarrassment.

The nurse quickly left, with a soft smile.

The hospital once again fell into a hushed silence, After a bit Rob did have to lay back and rest, as Ruiri sat there holding his hand tightly as Rob squeezed back.
