• He gets back from his sabbatical and Baran pretends nothing ever happened, she treats him cordially, coldly, professional. It drives him nuts.

• He eventually apologizes for how he behaved on the 4th. She accepts it but she doesn’t exactly forgives him, not at first.

• Things take a turn when they handle some chaotic case together, they save someone’s life but only because they worked together.

• Robby tells her about Adamson and his mom. Unpromptedly.

• She finds out he never called administration.

• He has a panic attack. She calms him down.

• She has a literal war flashback, he helps to bring her back.

• The residents and med students pick up on their banter and on their chemistry. Santos immediately starts a betting pool about their will they/won’t they situation. It gets around. Half of the hospital has a bet placed on them.

• Whitaker refuses to engage with this at first then he accidentally walks in on them almost kissing. He places the highest bet. He wins.

• Javadi secretly writes fanfiction about Robby and Al-Hashimi, Joy beta reads them.

• Mckay calls them “Dr. Mommy” and “Dr. Daddy”

• The first time he tries to ask her out on a date is so awkward she ends up basically asking herself out (“Are you trying to ask me out, dr. Robinavitch?”)

• They bond over their shared taste for music (divorced dad rock)

• She only calls him Michael when she’s mad.

• He only ever calls her Baran outside the PTMC.

• She loves riding his motorcycle with him (she’s the only other person besides Duke allowed to touch that thing)

• He always hands the helmet to her first.

• He helps her son with his homework almost every night (he’s freakishly good at 3rd grade math)

• He says I love you first.

• She has a picture of him and her son as her home screen.

• They have a really awkward meeting with Gloria about dating in the workplace. They burst out laughing the second she’s out the door.

• They arrive separately to the ER/ED every morning, even though there’s no point in doing this, everyone knows they’re together.
