This event is with a Writer and Producer who will discuss a variety of topics, including: writing strong characters, creating a compelling premise and/or story, finding your voice, hooking your reader, script development, among other topics.

Robert Cox has successfully written in various literary genres since his teenage years, notably in scientific journals and business publications, as well as plays, opera librettos, song lyrics and short stories. In the past, he has sent ideas to various television shows in the form of synopses, treatments, and scripts, had several considered and a few filmed. He writes in a variety of genres including Sci-Fi, Drama, Comedy, Family/Faith-Based, LGBT, and Action-Adventure. He has been awarded or placed in over eighty film festivals and screenplay contests in 2018 alone.

Along with writing his own screenplays, he has assisted other writers in finishing their scripts, one of which is now in pre-production. He has also mentored writers, edited scripts and other forms of written communication, such as short stories, poetry, and even Blog Posts, has been called upon to judge films and scripts for Film Festivals and has been asked to speak at various Festivals.

He holds a BA in English, a BA in music and a Masters in Botany.
