I'll shade it eventually
Wednesday | May 23, 2018
My Wednesday morning was spent reviewing infinite series outside the alumni center. Interestingly, I find mathematics in general easier to understand as it becomes more complex. Hopefully this is a good sign for my final in three weeks!
Also, Solo is coming out at the end of the week and I couldn’t be any more excited. It’s supposed to be released a day early here so I’ll try to watch it tomorrow. This should be a good way to unwind from midterms and job interviews.
Quote of the Day: “Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” - Robert Louise Stevenson
I ran to him at once, calling to my mother. But haste was all in vain. The captain had been struck dead by thundering apoplexy. It is a curious thing to understand, for I had certainly never liked the man, though of late I had begun to pity him, but as soon as I saw that he was dead, I burst into a flood of tears. It was the second death I had known, and the sorrow of the first was still fresh in my heart.
Chapter 3.
oh no
Under the wide and starry sky Dig the grave and let me lie: Glad did I live and gladly die, And I laid me down with a will. This be the verse you grave for me: 'Here he lies where he long'd to be;' Home is the sailor, home from sea, And the hunter home from the hill.
Requiem by Robert Louis Stevenson
There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.
Robert Louise Stevenson
I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move.
Robert Louis Stevenson
