I'm pretty frustrated. I just can't find a way to get Robert into the household. They're married now and super happy, but he doesn't belong to any household in the city. Apparently, we met him back then as a service guy. But I really don't know how to get him into the household. Usually, partners move in as soon as they're married. But that didn't work out… and he's always just walking around town in his underwear/swim trunks. Ugh, I'm going crazy. Why isn't there an option to ask someone to move in? Or is there? If anyone knows more, please let me know.
~ Marilyn Tittle, Robert Marsh' daughter (Marsh wasn't really portrayed in the series, but his is another example of what war did to these men and how they viewed each other. They were each others heroes.)
Happy fish family being together and not stabbing one another for profit 🥲
Fish Out of Water
Oh fathomless reach, do you remember?
Carved into being by lightless pressure
That little fish that swam so freely in your hold
A form to embrace you in turn as was foretold
Pushing and molding into shimmering nacre
A pearl did glimmer in the night that reigns below
Given the name of one who leads, the torrential anchor
Yet all I was a sickly, not quite trenchant fellow
Pressure commands from the once cradle
I am wrong, I am wrong, I am wrong
The crown, the bands, the throne, to stomach I am unable
Teach me to be kind, teach me to be strong
All I can do is to breach the surface
Beyond the looming maw not of a home, merely a palace
To rise above in position if not in conviction
Air should be stifling, yet all I feel is free of perdition
From Prince to pauper, you claim that I’ve fallen
Wine Dark Sea, still I denounce that maudlin
drowning child best left forgotten
To cast a long line of hope,
Finally learning to be someone untrodden
Learned something new about Janovec today. It's actually really shocking and sad, ngl. For those who don't recognize the name; John Janovec was played by Tom Hardy in the BoB series.
(And if you still don't know him, this guy below)
Annnddd for all you lovely people who can't read that very clearly (I dont blame you it's a shitty picture,) I wrote it out;
"One night Sgt. Robert Marsh was driving Pvt. John Janovec back from a roadblock by a side road. Janovec was leaning on the unreliable door of a German truck. They hit a log. He lost his balance, fell, and hit his head on the pavement. Marsh rushed him to the regimental aid station in Zell am See, but he died on the way of a fractured skull."

Guys I’m attempting to write another book. In my defense, my sister hyped me up to do it so it’s really her fault I got another wip I’ll never finish
It’s called On Thin Ice and it’s about two hockey players, ex childhood friends, who absolutely cannot get along despite being on the same team. They learn to work together so their fighting and rivalry doesn’t affect their playing during games. Eventually their private practice sessions lead the two to catching feelings for one another. Problem is, one of them has a girlfriend and the other is worried about coming out to the public
Which one of y'all put THE BEETLE on display at Waterstones 😭
