Saturday evening.
They play video games and chat, and Elissa cuddles with Robert, and uh-oh, maybe she's in love with him now.
The party ends just as Mary and Nathan pull into the driveway. :P
While her parents are out, Elissa also doesn't waste time and throws a party, inviting basically everyone she knows who's not on campus at the time.
Here we have: Claus Jocque, Paola Picaso, Pak Cho, Orlando Summerdream, Ophelia Capp, and of course, Robert Ottomas.
Orlando used to date Elissa's sister, but now he's kinda with Paola? Who doesn't like Elissa that much but comes anyway, presumably to make sure Orlando isn't stolen from her. To be honest, that fear wouldn't be unfounded.
Claus feels a bit awkward around the others. Ophelia tries to make a move on him, but he'd rather play with the dogs.
Pak is just chilling. He kissed Elissa once in the past, but they're just friends now, so it's cool.
[Save for Orlando, an adopted townie, these are all sims born in-game to premades, and I absolutely love this crowd.]
Elissa's boyfriend is in college now, and she hasn't even decided if she's gonna join him there yet, so she doesn't see a reason not to have some fun with boys in the meantime. She has some history with Robert Ottomas; she wasn't there for his advances in the past, but times change!
Poor Robert seems to be a permanent spare guy for romance girlies whose official bfs are away.
Later Mary gives Elissa a talk about having fun responsibly. Her personal history makes her worry more, even though Elissa is basically an adult at this point.
[The way I play, I consider teens who are 4-ish days from their next life stage young adults aged 18-20.]
Jason takes the kids to the western part of the central park, the classy one.
Jason: No, young man, I did not almost whack you in the head with my daughter’s feet! And if you keep bothering us, I’ll call the park manager!
Sybil: Do you think that girl is from another planet?
Parker: I heard her say she’s from Riverblossom Hills.
They stay in the park until it’s quite late. While the kids are skating, Jason grabs a cup of hot chocolate from the skates-renting office. He could use some coffee instead...
Etsu, in the mean time, is home alone; her mother and younger sister are in the museum, and dad and Pak are at work...
She uses this opportunity to call Robert Ottomas over for some farewell fun before she has to leave for college. Sure, they’ve never dated but they haven’t not dated either. And Etsu’s actual boyfriend is not there, so.
The Ottomas family is next. Samantha and Peter are now retired. Their three youngest kids - Tommy, Zoe and Robert - still live at home with them. Roux the cat is rocking new default eyes.
The rotation starts from Robert’s now ex girlfriend Rora Curious sneaking in with a late dream date gift - just when Robert is about to sneak out for a late night ride with another girl, Etsu Cho. It’s not like Rora and Robert ever were serious - they only went steady because Rora had that wish to fulfill before leaving for college. But still, awkward!
