Today I'm going to go rollerskating down the West Side wearing a rainbow afro wig with a 'My Pretty Pony' T-shirt' while eating an ice-cream cone. Today I'm going to hum Broadway tunes, buy leather chaps, watch Drag Race, read Vogue, have a cosmo with lunch, buy tickets to a musical, get a mani / pedi and wave a rainbow flag. Today I'm going to be ME in honor of 49 friends that I never got to meet and 53 new friends who I hope to meet someday...

Spotted At 3PTPOP’s MBFW Presentation: Nicki Minaj, Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour + More!

3PTPOP transforms your favorite art, music, and fashion idols into wearable works of art. No pop culture icons were harmed in the making of these duds.

Wearing pop culture on your sleeve is easier than ever, thanks to 3PTPOP (Three Point Pop). The brainchild of designer Victor-John Villanueva, the line brings on the bling with fusible-beaded necklaces, tees, and leggings featuring images of beloved art, music, and fashion icons.

This past weekend, 3PTPOP sashayed its way to Yotel Hotel’s rooftop for a Mercedes Benz Fashion Week presentation that was heavy on the quirk and color.

Forget crowding the tents at Lincoln Center for a glimpse of pop culture’s heavy hitters! From Nicki to Karl –with Biggie, Daft, Andy, and more in between– the stars were well-represented at this show (in tee and necklace form).

Described as a fusion of fashion, pop, and toys, Villanueva’s label has been making waves among fashion’s elite.

Miss J. Alexander and Robert Verdi are fans, as you can see from this MBFW shot. I caught Miss J. before the Academy of Art University runway show (a friend was decked out in a 3PTPOP necklace) and he said that Villanueva was “so talented.”

You know you’re doing something right when you can count the sassy former America’s Next Top Model judge as a fan.
