Due to the recent announcement, let's talk about the times Robbie Reyes was gonna have his show in the MCU

Alright so as we know, Robbie Reyes appeared in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., he was great imo, and if you remember, Robbie was gonna originally get his own show. I'm just gonna copy paste half of what the mcu wiki says bc they better have sources so my apologies for being lazy but eh there ain't much info:

Netflix:

Around 2016, it was rumored that Ghost Rider, Blade and Moon Knight were getting Netflix MCU shows, obviously this didn't happen and only Moon Knight managed to survive years later.

Imo, I have a hard time seeing Netflix investing in Ghost Rider during that time. Moon Knight and maybe Blade I can mostly see. I feel like him (or any of them) and the rogue galleries probably would've been too expensive for Netflix especially since this was before Netflix eventually began piling billion dollar budgets at whatever they threw out.

What we do know however is that In October 2016, Gabriel Luna mentioned that there were "rumblings" for his Ghost Rider to feature in his own television series following the introduction of the character on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In September 2017, Luna reiterated that his Marvel deal included the possibility of a solo venture for his Ghost Rider, either as a film or as a Netflix series.

So you know what, maybe Netflix was willing to gamble with Ghost Rider.

Hulu:

In May 2019, it was reported that Marvel Television was producing a television series featuring Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider on Hulu, with Luna reprising his role from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It was also announced that Ingrid Escajeda would serve as showrunner and executive producer, while Paul Zbyszewski and Jeph Loeb would be executive producers. The series would premiere in 2020.

According to Hulu, the series would not be a traditional spin-off of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but would focus on the "same character with a new story that lives unto its own."

In July 2019, Loeb confirmed that the series would reference Reyes' role in the fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In August 2019, Loeb stated that Ghost Rider, Helstrom, and other unannounced Hulu series would be labelled under the banner Adventure into Fear.

On September 25, 2019, it was announced that the series would not be going forward at Hulu due to creative differences.

So now here we are in 2026, we got Ryan Gosling as the Ghost Rider (either Johnny or Danny idk) Will it actually be done? Who knows tbh
