I've been teasing you guys with this in my stories. It's finally finished. I don't think I've ever loved a piece of my own art like I love this thing. I'm going to make prints of it. Fish Braaied In Newspaper Parcels

What could be better for a lazy Sunday afternoon than delicious white fish braaied in newspaper parcels? Find the super-easy recipe below and enjoy your Sunday! 1 or 2 fish, weighing about 2 kg in total from a sustainable source, such as hake, cob or yellowtail, gutted and scaled 30 ml olive oil, for rubbing 40 ml Robertsons Spice for Fish 10 ml Robertsons Lemon Pepper 1 lemon, sliced 1 red onion, sliced Lemon wedges, to serve Method: Make a few diagonal slits in fish flesh. Rub the fish, inside and out, with olive oil. Combine the Fish spice and lemon pepper and rub over the fish inside and out. Stuff fish cavity with lemon and onion slices. Wrap fish in a layer of baking paper and then in 4 sheets of wet newspaper. Cook the parcel over medium coals, turning occasionally, for 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the fish. Wet the newspaper periodically if it gets too dry. Check if the fish is cooked by piercing it with a knife. If it is white and flaky it is cooked. Remove all paper and serve fish with lemon wedges

PRAWN CAKES

These prawn cakes are ready to eat in under 20 minutes, and are a perfect starter for any occasion, or just pop a few more on the plate for a delicious evening meal!

250 g ready-cooked prawns, shelled  250 g cooked hake fillets, flaked  3 spring onions, chopped  1/3 cup freshly chopped coriander  3 potatoes, boiled and mashed  5 ml Robertsons spice for Fish Robertsons Lemon Pepper to taste 1 egg, beaten  120 g flour  ½ cup vegetable oil  Method: Chop the prawns into chunks and combine with the hake, spring onion, coriander and mashed potato. Add the Fish spice and Lemon Pepper to taste. Gently mould into cakes, lightly brush with beaten egg and dust with a little flour. Place a pan over a medium to high heat and add the vegetable oil. When hot, shallow-fry the fish cakes until cooked through and golden brown on all sides. Serve with fresh rocket leaves and a sweet chilli sauce.
