Another fan-fic request I did for someone, this one is from March 2019. The requester had wanted Robin and Mike from The Powerpuff Girls on a date, with Bubbles helping out her friend beforehand.

Robike headcanons and such?

LOVE ROBIKE THEYRE SO CUTE ABSOLUTELY

Robin is very much “this is my himbo (affectionate) , if you hurt him i will snap you in two” and Mike is very much “look at my girlfriend. she’s so pretty. she’s so smart. she’s so kick ass. i’m in love with her.” it is a BEAUTIFUL dynamic

both of them can be very reckless at different times, and usually one of them has to stop the other from doing something impulsive (ie Mike having to pull back Robin from going head first into a battle the ppg are doing so she can “get good footage for the blog”, Robin stopping Mike from doing... anything...)

out of everyone in their friend group, they were the first to get their shit together. when they first met it was an automatic recognition of “i like you, you like me, we flirt a lot, the only thing that’s stopping me from asking you out is making sure it’s the right time” (this is taking to account that they never met in canon when they were younger, i’m thinking they officially meet and become friends like ~freshman year-ish)

everyone else goes to the both of them for relationship advice which they have absolutely no idea how to give out. they’re good at 1 (one) relationship only so trying to relate to the problems that other people have that pertain to their crush and/or s/o is very much not possible for them. basically that was a long winded way of saying they’re bad at giving advice

they are both movie snobs, and a lot of their dates are them watching a movie together and pausing it every 5 minutes to critique

when they’re older, Robins the one to propose to Mike

Robin, even through all her badassery, is an absolutely awful cook. she has tried so hard but cannot do it for the life of her. Mike finds it endearing, and he does the majority of cooking for their household

in the future they adopt a 3 year old girl named Quincy

this is less Robike and more general but in the way future, Robin is a surrogate for one of Miblos children

okay some really fast ones:

Mike’s guilty pleasure is scrapbooking and he makes one for Robin of their “timeline” together

for their 4th anniversary (dating, not marriage), Robin bought Mike a stuffed alligator that was 6 feet tall 

their communication is so good, very healthy of them

THEY GO TO AN ORCHID AND GO APPLE PICKING AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR

Robin has a cat that only likes 3 people, which is Robin herself, Buttercup, and Mike. Robin knew she was in love with him the day she brought him to the house and her cat immediately curled itself around his legs

they put records in a record player then slow dance in their kitchen

Norms headcannons?

YES

Mitch and Buttercup are best friends and Mitch is constantly in a state of panic when BC goes into battle (she can be very reckless)

Pablo has to calm Mitch down before he straight up storms into the middle of a monster fight (because he’s tried to before, and Mike and Robin aren’t able to keep him back)

Mitch is gay, Pablo and Robin are bi, and Mike is straight

they’re all super protective of the ppg and rrb

Mitch and Mike once heard someone talking shit and almost clocked them before Robin and Pablo pulled them back

Robin and Pablo bond over the struggles of having a very worrisome s/o that they have to soothe

although 99% of the time Robin and Pablo are chill, if all four of them are together alone chaos ensues

they once egged Mojo Jojo’s house cause he sent out too many Bots that week and it was stressing the girls out

Robin and Mitch collaborate on getting the greens together because Robin lives next door to the girls and hears all of Buttercups screaming about how she “totally doesn’t like him” (bullshit) and Mitch is best friends with them so he gets the yelling directly from both

before each couple gets together they make bets on when it’ll happen

Robin wins the bet cause she knew Bubbles and Boomer would happen soon

Pablo is the tallest out of them all standing at 6’3

Mike is short and hates it cause everyone makes fun of him for it (including Robin who’s shorter than him, but whenever he brings that up she yells at him)

Mitch and Pablo are the human equivalents of PDA

despite being the calmest of them all, Pablo once beat someone up for spreading a nasty rumor about Robin and Mike’s relationship

Robin practices Martial arts and everyone is scared of her. they know she could whoop all their asses

Robin makes jokes about being a mistake all the time. Mitch, Pablo, and Mike have gotten used to it and laugh at other people’s reactions

Robin and Pablo are in a billion extra curricular activities together. Mitch and Mike make fun of them for being “geeks”

who do you ship with all the “norms”?

ooh okay so it depends on who you view as the norms but for me it’s Robin, Mike, Mitch, and Pablo. all of these ships i completely owe to As Time Goes By, which made me fall in love with all of these characters and relationships.

my number 1 norms ship is Miblo (Mitch and Pablo) because i view them as the couple who is just exasperated with everything around them and adore each other. Mitch is a flirty bitch with unlimited energy, and Pablo is the calm and collected one that has to contain his boyfriend 99% of the time.

i also really love Robike. Mike is reckless and will do anything to “defend the honor of his Blue Bird”. Robin is just watching him while laughing. they love each other and it’s amazing.

The girl narrowed her eyes before sliding into the seat in front of the frozen brunet with the startling silver eyes.

"you know what." Robin Snyder said baldly.

"no I don't." Mike Believe said quickly before becoming engrossed in his prepackaged muffin- chalky and crumbly, ew, what was he thinking - Ma would have his head for eating this processed crap-.

"I saw you."

Silence.

"... Saw what?" Play dumb.

"I saw you." Robin leaned closer. "I saw you move.. that... Chair."

Badum. Badum. Badum.

"without. Leaving. Your. Chair."

Badum. Badum. Badum.

"I am right. I knew it. I knew there was something different about you -!"

"Robin don't."

"you're a super-mm?"

It wasn't very polite or nice to cover a girl's mouth, again Ma would have his hide but...

"Shush! Okay, fine, so maybe I am..." he looked over his shoulder... Then back at the annoyed fellow third grader. "I might have ... A thing yeah." He released her.

"you can make stuff move with your head! I knew it! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I knew Blossom was full of it!" She folded her arms and swished her long braid over her shoulder. "Hey... Wait a minute, if you can... Who else knows?"

"shush!" Mike begged. "Just... Shush. Okay... Okay you got me. What do you want?" He gulped. "She frowned. "I can get ya real muffins or cookies or heck I'll even get ya a cake... Just... Don't... Don't tell anyone okay?" He gulped again, he was beginning to finally ... This city was... He didn't want to move again, darn it why had he ever-! An empty classroom? There was no such thing as an empty class room! It was an elementary school!

Just... Mike... Mike didn't want to leave... His friends... Just...

"what do you mean?" She frowned more. "Mikey... I don't want anything ... I just wanted to see if it was true."

He frowned. "you can't tell anyone... If you do I... I gotta leave-."

"leave? You can't leave we're in school." She folded her arms. "Mikey I don't get it."

The little boy only continued looking at the table. "It's ...complicated." he mumbled.

Robin frowned even more and Mike felt like such a jerk, he didn't want to make her sad and sure he hated lying to Robin Snyder more than anyone else in the world but...

"okay." He blinked.

"what?"

She opened her juice bottle. "I won't tell anyone. I promise. I just want you to know I think it's cool is all." She grinned. "So can I sit with you?"
