Tim runs into Catwoman on his foray into the outside world.  They worked together briefly before Tim caught the Clench, but they got off to a pretty rocky start.  Here she ends up helping him; despite his intentions to stay out of trouble, he's clearly in over his head.  He climbs to the top of a building and has to take a nap before proceeding, and then completely loses his bearings while crashing into a room full of thugs with guns.  Selena intervenes and saves him, then is shocked to learn that he's recovering from the virus.  They both impress one another.

I have this headcanon (which I think is pretty much canon) that a significant number of Batman's enemies and allies would be willing to take Tim on as a protege.  I think Selena is one of them; if Tim ever decided to turn thief, I'm pretty sure that Selena would take him under her wing.

This is one of my favorite issues.  It really showcases how Tim interacts with both of his families--the chosen Bat-family and his blood family.  Dick, Alfred, and Tim tease and poke fun at each other.  They talk about what's happened, and Bruce and Dick express their concern for Tim.  By contrast, when Tim calls his dad he doesn't say anything about having been sick at all. 

The strange thing is that this would have been something that Tim could have told his dad about without revealing anything about the secret.  Many people came down with the clench, and it wouldn't have been a stretch for Tim to say he'd caught the virus and Bruce had gotten him the cure.  Instead he chooses just to say that he'd been locked down at Bruce's by the quarantine.  It's interesting, because Tim frequently talks about how much he hates lying to his dad, but here he chooses to take that route just because it would be simpler. 

Dick and Bruce head out to deal with some of the fallout of the virus and Tim elects to stay home.  However, when another emergency call comes in he heads out to deal with it.  He talks about how he's going to take things easy and not put himself at risk, but admits that he's still incredibly weak.
