I’m rewatching Ghosts in order to do some character analysis before the movie comes out, and I just have to say that the first episode introduces the ghosts exceptionally well. You get the gist of everyone with a little something more.

Cap is strict and appears authoritarian, but his discomfort with sexual innuendos and checking out Mike hints there’s something under that exterior.

Robin doesn’t remember many names for things, which you’d perceive as not understanding, but he comes up with good ideas and is beating Julian, the most modern looking, at chess.

Pat seems cheery and enthusiastic about teamwork because of his scout’s uniform and appearance, but his line about needing something to look forward to implies his positivity is a coping mechanism. We know he’s holding onto something more than the other ghosts.

It also sets up some key dynamics: Robin & Julian, Pat & Captain, and Thomas & Kitty. Overall, decent first episode.
