prompt from @awakeingdreamprompts Robin blinked back to consciousness slowly, the blurry surroundings starting to crisp up into her vision. It took her a minute before her eyes could focus on his brilliant blue ones and she remembered where she was. Sitting up slowly from the metal table she was on, she evaluated just how much she hurt. “Look who finally decided to wake up. How are you feeling?” He placed down the project he was apparently working on before making his way over to her. Holding his arm out, she used it to slide her way off o the table and stand up. Flinching at the pain at first, but stretching a bit after gaining her balance.
“A lot better than I thought, actually.” She ran her hands over her freshly bandaged surgical scars. Letting out a laugh of relief, nearly tackling Tech over with a hug. “I can’t begin to thank you enough,”
“See, was that so bad? You were so scared about it, too. I told you I knew what I was doing.” His words hit her harder than they should have, making her wonder what else he’s done to himself that made him so used to surgeries like the ones he just performed on her.... She shook her head, dismissing the thought.
